Aluma Tarot App
I was approached by the founder and CEO of an AI powered tarot app startup to design their product. At it’s conception, it was called ‘Arcana’ but has now morphed into ‘Aluma’
I have included all of my branding mood boards that I created for brand discovery.
I also was involved in designing the back of their unique tarot card and background imagery as well as the first draft of their UI/UX in Figma and branding/logo/icon design.
Stage 1: Initial Discovery & Boarding
I created several variations of ‘mood boards’ that would drive the direction of the aesthetics of the application & brand
Stage 2: Concept Development
Played with some initial UI designs based on the Founder’s favorite mood boards
Stage 3: Finalized Backgrounds + Cards
Using one of the above mood boards we pushed the colors and vibes towards Alma’s own unique UI, Tarot Card Backs and Backgrounds. All of these gradients and designs are my own artwork.
Stage 4: Logo and App Icon
Created some variations and options for what would become the app icon and Logo
Stage 5: UI/UX
I worked on all of the initial UI/UX in Figma that turned into the beta of the app. These are a few sneak peeks at the initial designs for the ‘reading’ pages.
